Hainzenberg lies at the foot of the impressive "Gerlossteinwand" moutain. The region has hiking trails of various degrees of difficulty - from leisurely going for a walk to climbing. The local Hainzenberg circular tour also leads right by our house.

Our guesthouse is located just 250m from the ski area Zillertalarena - Gerlosstein.
Why Gerlosstein is highly recommended:
skiing, snowboarding on well groomed slopes; if snow conditions allow it the valley run leads nearly to our house.
hardly (if) any waiting times and no crowded slopes
7km toboggan run (operates day and night, illuminated at night, sledges can be hired)
family-friendly
not as big yet superb and charming
The larger ski areas can easily be reached either by car or by free-of-charge ski busses (bus stop is only 250m from our house). All in all the Zillertal region offers more than 600km slopes and cross country slopes for you to enjoy and has more than 167 top notch gondolas and ski lifts. Numerous Après Ski Bars, alpine taverns/lodges and umbrella bars invite you to take a snack or drink!
